Wines You Cook With!

"Aprils Tasting is titled Wines We Cook With. It will be a food and wine tasting. Several of our members are preparing dishes with the wines we more often cook with than drink. We will be tasting a food then sampling the wine then taking a second bite to see if we really feel the wine translates in the food. As these are not the wines one normally pours a glass of, we will be pouring smaller than usual taste so we can try to use only one bottle of each. I will have both a red and white warm up in large enough quantity for consuming afterwards. So Thats the plan."

Part 3

Wild, Wacky Whites were way, way wonderful, where we weighed wine with wine, while winds wafted wistfully, wishing winter would wither wapidly.

OK, I had a pretty good time, and I guess it shows... Thanks to Nan Slick for her efforts in preparation, and to LeRoy for taking the helm of our wayward ship once again, and leading the presentation, and thanks to the Barbours for lending their lovely venue on that fine spring day!
