OK. There was a test! Joe Fiola discovered that not everyone knew
everything about Sherry. We all got 100 % the second time around,
however! Thanks, Joe for an enlightening presentation about Sherries.
As you can see from the list below, three of the Sherries were of
Joe's own making. Quite impressive, seeing as how one of them turned
out to be a happy accident-something about a fermentation that didn't
turn out as expected and somehow got lost in storage for a time only
to resurface (or was that "flored?") as Fiola #1 if memory
serves! As you can also tell, the Fiola Sherries were priceless.
The favorite was the sweetest-#7.
Thanks to the Pardoes for putting up with all of us at their lovely
abode. Thanks, Nan, for taking notes.
